KBR AND CUST-O-FAB FORM ALLIANCE TO PERFORM FCC REVAMPS

Refiners can now choose from a technology design package or a complete technology turnkey package for FCC revamps.

HOUSTON - KBR (formerly Kellogg Brown & Root) and Cust-O-Fab Service Company, L.L.C. ("COF") have announced an alliance for the supply of Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit (FCCU) technology-based, Lump Sum Turnkey ("LSTK") revamp services to the refining industry. KBR is the engineering and construction subsidiary of Halliburton (NYSE:HAL).

KBR has a long been a leader in developing and supplying FCC technology to the refining industry. COF specializes in the fabrication of FCC equipment and in turnkey construction and maintenance work for FCC turnarounds. By combining their expertise, experience and know-how, the two companies are offering to the refining industry the best process technology at the lowest execution and implementation costs. Refiners can now choose from a technology design package or a complete technology turnkey package for FCC revamps.
