HALLIBURTON COMMITMENT TO SUPPLIER DIVERSITY
GENERATES PRIME SUPPLIER AWARD FROM SHELL
HOUSTON, Texas - For the second year in a row, Halliburton is the recipient of Shell's Prime Supplier Award because of its commitment to supplier diversity Shell recognized prime suppliers who demonstrate supplier diversity initiatives at its annual awards luncheon recently. Nine companies were nominated for the award, which was won by Halliburton.
"Through positive actions, Halliburton's Energy Services Group and KBR business units have gone beyond reacting to customer requirements to embracing supplier diversity as an integral part of how their business should be conducted," said Patricia Richards, manager, Corporate Supplier Diversity, Shell businesses. "Shell is committed to providing access to business opportunities for certified minority- and women-owned businesses."
Linda Holloway, Halliburton's manager of Global Supplier Diversity, said: "Halliburton is committed to continually seeking suppliers and contractors who add value to our company and to the customers we serve. As part of this ongoing commitment, Halliburton seeks to provide business opportunities for minority- and women-owned business enterprises that offer products and services on a competitive basis.
