HALLIBURTON KBR CAPTURES MILITARY DISTRICT OF WASHINGTON ACQUISITION CENTER JOB ORDER CONTRACT
ARLINGTON, Virginia - Halliburton KBR Government Operations has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Army Military District of Washington Acquisition Center for maintenance, repair, and minor construction projects throughout Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, West Virginia and the Washington, DC, area. Halliburton KBR is the engineering and construction business segment of Halliburton (NYSE: HAL).
This five-year, $75 million contract provides flexible and responsive contracting capability for government or institutional facilities. It cuts design, engineering, construction and contract procurement lead times by awarding long-term contracts for a wide variety of renovation, repair and minor construction jobs.
For more than 60 years, HKBR Government Operations has supported U.S. forces in the United States and in over 30 countries worldwide.
