HALLIBURTON’S NORWAY OPERATIONS ACHIEVES ISO 14001 CERTIFICATION
DALLAS, Texas - Halliburton (NYSE: HAL) today announces that the Shared Services Operations and the Production Enhancement product service line of its subsidiary Halliburton AS in Norway have been awarded the ISO 14001 accreditation. The ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems standards were awarded by DNV (Det Norske Veritas). The award underlines the company’s ability to identify, prioritize, manage, and document its environmental affairs as part of normal work practices and the execution of projects.
This certification, which covers both onshore and offshore operations, applies to all product activities and services provided by both Halliburton groups at all facilities located in Norway. The award follows detailed internal and external assessment programs in which all aspects of business work processes and operations in Norway were evaluated and found to withstand a comprehensive review by DNV.
Jorunn Sætre, ESG Country Vice President in Norway, says "This ISO 14001 certification formally aligns Halliburton's Norway Production Enhancement group with the growing clients' expectations towards environmental management. It is also a further endorsement of our continuing commitment to achieving environmental excellence in all products, services, and activities that Halliburton provides."
