HALLIBURTON'S WELLSTREAM ANNOUNCES FLEXIBLE FLOWLINE AWARD FOR SONANGOL'S ANGOLAN BLOCK 3 DEVELOPMENT

DALLAS, Texas - Wellstream, a business unit of Halliburton's (NYSE: HAL) Energy Services Group, has been awarded an order for the supply of 4-in. production and water injection flexible dynamic risers for a "fast-track" offshore project for Sonangol P&P's development of the Nunce Sul structure. The Nunce Sul structure is part of Sonangol P&P's Canuku development area in Block 3, offshore Angola where Angola Drilling Company (ADC) is the service contractor for the development.

"This project provides an opportunity to again demonstrate Wellstream's design, engineering, and procurement abilities in delivering fast-track solutions to meet customer's expectations. The risers will be manufactured in our Panama City, Florida, plant to meet the first oil target of late 3Q 2001," said Brian Cocksedge, managing director, Wellstream.
