HALLIBURTON’S WELLSTREAM ANNOUNCES FLEXIBLE FLOWLINE AWARD OF POTABLE WATER LINE IN VIRGIN ISLANDS
DALLAS, Texas - Wellstream, a business unit of Halliburton Company's (NYSE: HAL) Energy Services Group, has been awarded a contract from Pirelli Incorporated to supply 6-in. potable water line for the transportation of water from St. Thomas to St. Johns in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
This order is the first for Wellstream in the utilities market. The smooth bore product will be designed and manufactured to the specification of the American Water Works Association's Standard C906-99 for potable water, in Wellstream's Panama City, Florida, United States facility, and will require the use of food grade high density polyethylene for the inner barrier.
