HALLIBURTON SUBSEA AWARDED ALLSEAS NORTH SEA AND MEDITERRANEAN ROV & SURVEY PIPELAY SUPPORT CONTRACT
DALLAS, Texas - Halliburton Subsea, a division of Halliburton Company's (NYSE:HAL) Energy Services Group, has been awarded a frame agreement contract for ROV(remotely operated vehicle) and survey deepwater pipelay support services in the North Sea and Mediterranean by Allseas Marine Contractors S.A.
The scope of work, comprising ROV and survey support of a number of separate pipelay contracts, commences later this year with the BP Magnus EOR project, which will link BP's West of Shetland Schiehallion field to their Northern North Sea Magnus field via the Shetland Islands. In addition to a comprehensive package of survey services, Halliburton Subsea will be providing both an Examiner HD deepwater ROV system and a Pioneer HD ROV system onboard Allseas vessels "Trenchsetter" and "Highland Rover." The company may also provide an additional survey and ROV support vessel during the course of the contract.
