Halliburton's DMD-ROOTS® Division Moves Into New Facility In Houston
Houston, TX -DMD-ROOTS®, a division of Dresser Equipment Group, Inc., has recently moved a portion of its operation into a new facility at 2135 South Highway 6 in Houston. Dresser Equipment Group is a business segment of Halliburton Company (NYSE: HAL).
DMD-ROOTS® will have access to 43,700 square feet of office space and 164,900 square feet of manufacturing space in the facility. The building will house the small blower/compressor portion of the ROOTS® business, which was previously located in Connersville, Indiana, and the measurement operation, which includes the manufacture of gas meters and related instrumentation for the natural gas industry. (The large rotary blower and centrifugal operations are still located in Connersville.)
"There are significant advantages to consolidating these operations," said Patrick Murray, president, Dresser Equipment Group. "We have the benefit of sharing overhead costs and creating a synergistic environment that will add value and growth for our customers and our employees."
The modern, new production facility has state-of-the-art equipment and provides DMD- ROOTS® with the increased machining capacity it needs to meet the needs of its customers.
