DMD ROOTS DIVISION ANNOUNCES PERSONNEL CHANGE
HOUSTON, Texas - DMD Roots, a division of Dresser Equipment Group, Inc., has announced the promotion of Gary Hanson to the newly creation position of Director of Strategic Planning and Business Development. Dresser Equipment Group is a business unit of Halliburton Company (NYSE: HAL).
Hanson, a 32-year employee of the company, was previously Director of Operations for Electronic Instruments. Under his leadership, the ROOTS Instrument Operation made great strides in performance, quality and financial results. In his new position, Hanson will lead high profile cross-functional teams to pursue significant opportunities and manage the entire division's planning process.
Hanson will be located at the Halliburton/Dresser facility on Highway 6 in Houston.
DMD Roots Division is a dominant supplier of pipe couplings and repair products for water, gas and industrial markets; rotary gas meters and related instrumentation for the natural gas industry; and blowers, centrifugal compressors and vacuum pumps for many industries.
