HALLIBURTON SUBSEA RECEIVES FURTHER MOBILE NORTH SEA AWARD
Dallas, Texas - Halliburton SubSea, a division of Halliburton Company's (NYSE:HAL) Brown & Root Energy Services (BRES), has been awarded a contract for the supply and installation of a flexible production flowline. Part of a five-year frame agreement with Mobil Exxon, the line is to be installed between Beryl Alpha and the Nevis field.
The flowline is to be manufactured by Wellstream at its plant in Newcastle, UK. It will be the sixth production flowline of this development to be manufactured by Wellstream and installed by Subsea Offshore, now part of Halliburton SubSea. Measuring 7.5km, the 53/8-inch 5000psi insulated sweet service production flowline is to be completed ex-works end April 2000 for installation during May 2000.
