Halliburton Receives Hart's Oil And Gas World Award For Best New Technology
HOUSTON, Texas (September 7, 1999) - At a recent meeting of the Texas Independent Producers and Royalty Owners Association (TIPRO), Hart's Oil and Gas World magazine awarded Marathon Oil Company the Best of the Gulf Coast award for Marathon's use of Halliburton's Magnetic Resonance Imaging Logging technology to optimize fracture stimulation treatments. In recognition of the essential role played by Halliburton Energy Services, a business unit of Halliburton Company (NYSE: HAL), Hart's awarded HES a Certificate of Achievement, Best of the Gulf Coast 1999 for best new technology.
The award recognizes Halliburton's success in applying the advanced technology of MRIL to propped fracture treatments.
