DRESSER VALVE DIVISION ANNOUNCES NEW LINE OF CHEMICAL INJECTION PUMPS
DALLAS, Texas - Dresser Equipment Group's Valve Division now provides a new line of positive cycle chemical injection pumps through its Texsteam operations in Houston, Texas. The pumps are designed to give years of trouble-free service even in the most hostile, corrosive environments. Dresser Equipment Group, Inc. is a business unit of Halliburton Company (NYSE:HAL).
The Series MX pumps provide precise injection of chemicals into a process stream in oilfield and process applications. The small, lightweight pump is equipped with adjustable packing rather than single-seal packing. The pumps' capacity is adjustable from 0 percent to 100 percent by a simple modification of the air/gas flow. The availability of double-headed duplex models allows the user to double capacity with a single pump.
Chemical injection rates range from 1 pint per day to 62 gallons per day and can easily be adjusted to meet the required volume. The pumps feature discharge pressures to 10,000 PSI (690 bars) and inlet pressures to 145 PSI (10 bars).
The Series MX offers sensible pricing as well as an environmentally friendly design that allows excessive discharged gas to be recovered downstream. The piston-driven Series MX pumps provide positive action suction and discharge without the use of springs. This feature, combined with the low gas consumption, results in trouble-free operation with minimum maintenance requirements.
The fluid end is all stainless steel with full stainless steel trim. The larger air or gas ports make the pumps capable of operating on wet or dirty air or gas.
