Seaforth Wins Millenium Business

DALLAS, Texas (Sep. 27, 1999) - Seaforth Maritime, the supply and logistics arm of Brown & Root Energy Services, has secured more than £20 million ($32 million US dollars) of Millennium business after securing two North Sea contracts with Chevron UK Limited and Agip (U.K.) Limited. Brown & Root Energy Services is a business unit of Halliburton Company (NYSE: HAL).

Seaforth Maritime's supply logistics business will provide support for Chevron's Alba assets until 2002 in a deal worth £18 million ($28.8 million US dollar). This includes responsibility for the provision of supply vessel services, cargo handling and procurement management.

The second contract with Agip involves the provision of shorebase support such as labour, cranes and transport for the operator's Balmoral, Tiffany and associated fields also until 2002.
