HALLIBURTON TO BECOME EXCLUSIVE PROVIDER OF PUROLATOR POROPLUS™ SAND CONTROL SCREENS
HOUSTON, Texas - Halliburton has signed a letter of intent with Purolator Products Company to exclusively provide Purolator's Poroplus sand control screens around the world. Poroplus screens are premium sand control screens frequently used in the growing horizontal completions market. The two companies will share both manufacturing and marketing of PoroPlus.
Halliburton's global sales and service organization will enhance the market availability for Poroplus screens and will enable Purolator to develop more oilfield products which are supported by its 50 years of industrial filtration expertise.
Purolator Products Company offers a complete line of filtering products for numerous industries including the aerospace and oil and gas markets. The Facet Filter Products Division of Purolator, headquarters in Greensboro, North Carolina, is part of the Dayco Industrial Products Group of Mark IV Industries.
