Maersk Renews Skandi Fjord Primary Vessel Status
ESBJERG, Denmark - An agreement has been made between Maersk Olie og Gas AS - an operator in the Danish sector of the North Sea - and Halliburton Energy Services for the stimulation vessel Skandi Fjord. This is the seventh consecutive year Maersk Olie og Gas AS has used the Skandi Fjord in the performance of stimulation treatments.
The contracted work period is until September 1, 1996 with options for two one-year extensions. The work includes both proppant and acid stimulation of horizontal wells. An estimated 100 treatments are planned for the period.
