Halliburton Screens Receives ISO 9002 Certification
HOUSTON, Texas - Halliburton Energy Services announced that its screens manufacturing facility has achieved certification to the International Standard of Operations (ISO) 9002 Quality Standard. Halliburton is one of the world's leading suppliers of downhole screens for use in the completion of oil and gas wells.
The accreditation was conducted by the Canadian subsidiary of Quality Certification Bureau, an ISO/API registration company. The audit consisted of a detailed review of the Halliburton Screen Quality Process relative to the ISO 9002 Quality Standard. The results of the audit confirmed successful implementation of a quality management system to the ISO 9002 standard and supporting requirements.
The screen facility is now licensed to be listed internationally as an ISO registered firm for the "manufacture of screens, sand control equipment, and accessories for various industries."
Additionally, Halliburton's Oman operations recently reached a significant milestone by receiving country-wide, multi-service certification to the ISO 9001 standard. This certification is applicable to "management and execution of oilfield products and services for cementing services, stimulation services, wireline services, oil and gas well testing, and engineering design for all Oman operations."
Ken LeSuer, president and CEO of Halliburton Energy Services said these two facilities join many other Halliburton manufacturing and service facilities in achieving the high standards of ISO 9000.
