Halliburton And IWC Form Alliance For Total Well Control Services
DALLAS, Texas - Halliburton Energy Services and IWC Services, Inc. announced today that they have formed an alliance to offer a total solution for well control on a global basis. The alliance, to be known as "WELLCALL," will combine the strengths of each company to provide "full-service" well control solutions. Oil and gas operators will benefit by having a single source to quickly activate a coordinated total response team for all of their well control needs.
WELLCALL will provide all facets of the well control process including blowout control, oil and gas well firefighting, debris removal, snubbing services, pumping services, relief and directional well planning, pre-event troubleshooting, contingency planning, and other specialty services.
The alliance combines the strength and experience of two leaders in their respective fields. IWC Services Inc., is a newly formed company comprised of the renowned firefighters of the Red Adair Company. Coupled with Halliburton's over 75 years of pressure control and pumping experience, the alliance fields a team with the most comprehensive capabilities in the well control business.
