  • InSAR is the measurement of the changes in phase from two observations of the same target based on observations from satellite-based radar. No other geodetic technique can rival InSAR’s ability to measure deformation over vast areas of the earth’s surface. It accomplishes this by continuous coverage of repeat radar scenes. 
     
  • GPS is the satellite-based system that allows for a precise determination of location anywhere on or above the earth’s surface. The GPS system used by Halliburton provides a robust, economical stand alone system capable of operating for years. When fully integrated with InSAR, tilt or microseismic, you have a combination that will yield the information you need, when you need it. 
     
  • Surface tiltmeter mapping is a unique fracture diagnostic technology. It provides direct measurement of fracture orientation, fracture volume, complexity and approximate location. The results from surface deformation-based reservoir level monitoring can be made most useful if they are integrated with the production and injection information and other imaging technologies
