I've been with Halliburton for about two years, and the training I've received has already helped me move up at a pretty good rate. I started out as a Service Operator, but now I work as a Service Supervisor in Caldwell, Texas.

It's a job that keeps me busy, but it also gives me the opportunity to learn something new or different all the time. In my job, I'm responsible for coordinating and overseeing the Cementing product service line work at the wellsite. I coordinate the work performed by our service operators during rig-up and rig-down on a location and during the assembly and preparation of equipment for a job. Most important of all, I'm responsible for making sure that my team is in compliance with all of the health, safety and environmental regulations and guidelines on every job. With the advancements in technologies that Halliburton has developed, we're able to perform our jobs safer, more efficiently, and in less time than before.  

Teamwork plays a huge role in everything we do in the field. Teamwork keeps us safe and allows us to get back to our families at the end of the job. Without a team effort, nothing we do could get accomplished.

I think it's that bond we have as a team that makes Halliburton a great company to work for. It's like a large, close-knit family. My co-workers and I are always willing to help each other out even after the work is done. The people I've met and the friends I've made will leave lasting impressions on me for the rest of my life.
