Log into Halliburton.jobs. Click on the Job Search link. There are various ways to complete your search. You can search by a Geographic Area, Interest Group, Career Field, Requisition Number, or by keyword search.

Once you complete your search for your job (see section on "How do I search for a job?"), check the box next to the applicable job and select APPLY at the bottom of the page. Complete the application wizard and submit on the last tab. You may also select the job link to review the job requirements and select APPLY from that page.

If you have already registered with Halliburton.jobs, you can attach your resume by logging in and selecting the My Profile link. Then select ADD. Select the "Attachment Type", BROWSE and attach your document, then give it a name in the "Document Title" field. Click UPDATE.

NOTE: Be sure not to attach a file that has an extremely long path name or one that is not supported per the page instructions.

There are several ways you can "Release" your profile.

1. You can "release" your profile during the registration process by clicking on the Profile Release tab.
2. You can also log into your profile at any time after completing your registration to "release" your profile.
3. You can release your profile after submitting your job application without registering.

Your profile needs to be "Released" in order to be searchable by Recruiters. You can "Lock" and "Release" your profile at any time by going to the Overview and Release box in My Profile.

Yes! From www.halliburton.jobs, select POTENTIAL EMPLOYEE, then REGISTER in the top right corner of the page. Complete the registration information and click REGISTER. Be sure to complete and release your candidate profile so our recruiters can locate you in our talent pool.

If you cannot remember your password select FORGOT PASSWORD at the bottom of the Halliburton.jobs Sign In page. Your new password will be sent to the email address used when you registered (you must have a valid email address to use this feature). When you login using your new password, you will immediately be asked to change it.

If you do not have a valid e-mail address, you need Contact Us using the link in the last Q&A on this list. When requesting a new password you must make sure that you provide a method of contact such as a phone number so that we may contact you with your new password.

There are basically two reasons why you would receive an "Invalid File Format" message when trying to attach a document to your profile in Hal.jobs.

1. You have special characters(such as periods, comma, forward and back slashes) within your file name. For example, a file name of: John A. Smith's resume.doc would return the error message because of the period after the A and also the apostrophe in the last name. You would need to rename the document and remove these characters.
2. The document extension(type of document) is not acceptable within Hal.jobs. The system will accept .doc, .docx, .txt, .pdf, and .jpg extensions.

Halliburton.jobs has an expiration date on all job postings. If you search for a Job and cannot find it, usually that means either the expiration date has expired or the position has been removed from the system, or the position has been filled prior to the publication expiration date.
