Global Business Units

Halliburton delivers services to our customers through global business units: Drilling and Evaluation, and Completion and Production. Each segment is composed of several product service lines. Each product service line specializes in one particular aspect of the upstream process and includes research and development, marketing, project management and execution for its area of endeavor.

Drilling and Evaluation provides field and reservoir modeling, drilling, evaluation and precise wellbore placement solutions that enable customers to model, measure and optimize their well construction activities. It is made up of the Baroid, Drill Bits and Services, Landmark Software and Services, Sperry Drilling, Testing and Subsea, and Wireline and Perforating product service lines.

The Completion and Production Division tests and measures well production, and also provides the means to manage and improve production immediately after a well is drilled or after it has been producing for some time. It is made up of the Cementing, Completion Tools and Production Enhancement product service lines.

The Consulting and Project Management product service line supports both divisions.

	Baroid Baroid provides drilling fluid systems, performance additives, solids control, and waste management services for oil and gas drilling, completion, and workover operations.

	Boots & Coots Boots & Coots offers a wide variety of pressure control services to the oil & gas industry around the world. We leverage technology with experience in all of our services which include Coiled Tubing Services, Hydraulic Workover/Snubbing Services, Pressure Control Equipment Services, PWR Rentals, Risk Management & Prevention Services, and Pipeline Processes & Services.

	Cementing Cementing delivers products and services to ensure that wells have been cemented effectively for stabilization purposes. The services Cementing provides ensure optimum reservoir access

	Completion Tools Completion Tools helps customers to economically and efficiently complete their wells by providing the design, selection and installation of equipment and procedures to maximize well production.

	Consulting and Project Management Consulting and Project Management assists customers in optimizing the value of their oil and gas assets by applying industry best practices, methodologies, technologies, expertise, and project management capabilities to the most complex reservoir challenges.

	Drill Bits and Services Drill Bits and Services manufactures state-of-the-art drill bits and technologies, backed by comprehensive, expert support, that shorten drilling time and improve operational efficiency.

	Landmark Software and Services Landmark Software and Services’ technology deployment and hosting services, petro-technical computing portfolio, software training and customer support all help customers realize the maximum return on their technology investments by improving insight from data across the exploration and production life cycle.

	Production Enhancement Production Enhancement oversees and executes stimulation designs and techniques to improve oil and gas reservoir production.

	Sperry Drilling Sperry Drilling works at the rigsite, providing drilling systems and services and technologies to find the most direct route to our customers' hydrocarbon assets, and optimize drilling efficiency by enabling faster, safer and more accurate drilling.

	Testing and Subsea Testing and Subsea offers integrated testing and sampling capabilities with reliable products and services that are focused on acquisition and analysis of dynamic reservoir information and reservoir optimization solutions.

	Wireline and Perforating Wireline and Perforating Services interprets geological formations gathered from the well site. Its services also include perforating, which is the use of explosives to provide maximum well and reservoir productivity.
