The accountants and auditors in Halliburton's Finance group handle a broad range of business and financial issues that enable our internal clients to make critical business decisions.
What you'll do
Accountants and auditors typically begin their careers in one of four Finance groups: Internal Audit, Accounting, Tax Accounting or Treasury.
- Accountants are responsible for providing the meaningful, timely and accurate operational results and forecasts that facilitate management decisions and meet statutory reporting requirements. You'll also provide accounting services and financial advice to Halliburton's business units and product service lines around the globe.
- Auditors evaluate internal controls; document processes; evaluate potential control gaps, and assess locations to detect financial, operational or strategic risks that may prevent management from reaching its objectives. You'll also develop recommendations to help management in mitigating identified risks.
Who we want
We're looking for candidates with a business, finance/accounting or related degree who want to do more than just crunch numbers. If you have strong leadership qualities and excellent communication skills, you have the potential to become a trusted business and financial advisor at Halliburton. You should have a bachelor- or master-level degree in business, finance/accounting or a related area.
