What you will do
As a field engineer, you will work as an onsite leader, putting to use the technical and operational expertise you gain through Halliburton's world-class training. Depending on your work assignment, your responsibilities may include:
- Leading a crew to ensure that each project conforms to Halliburton's standards for both quality and safety
- Interpreting wellsite data in real time, using complex technologies such as software simulators and the latest electrical and mechanical equipment
- Working on pre-job planning, job execution and post-job analysis to ensure project efficiency
- Troubleshooting on-the-spot issues at the wellsite.
Where you will work
Field engineers work both onshore and offshore, perform very physical work and keep demanding schedules – often in outdoor environments that range from hot to cold and every climate in between.
You will have the opportunity to work in different locations and environments as your experience level grows and as Halliburton's business needs change.
