For a corporation to maintain a serious sustainability program, it must be willing and able to provide metrics to illustrate progress. Halliburton is committed to continued development of the internal processes necessary to support this effort. We are working with various organizations – including the Carbon Disclosure Project and the Dow Jones Sustainability Index, and with reporting guidance from the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and the American Petroleum Institute  – to identify and implement metrics that are representative of our business sector and meaningful to our stakeholders and our business goals.
